Savision is happy to announce a new release of Savision iQ. This release adds support for Paessler PRTG Network Monitor (PRTG) and also delivers some enhancements to the diagram views in Savision iQ.
By adding support for PRTG, Savision iQ can now provide visibility into all computers, alerts, incidents, and devices that are managed by PRTG. Savision iQ is able to reduce alert noise from PRTG as well as provide visibility into historical alerts that are useful to analyze in order to prevent similar issues from occurring again in the future.
The following screenshot shows Savision iQ with a filter added for PRTG. The end result is a simple overview showing all computers, alerts, incidents, groups, and components from PRTG. From this overview, it is easy to search or filter to quickly find the components that you are interested in. Savision iQ provides an overview of the state of each component, a current alert and incident count, and a calculated uptime percentage.
In addition to this overview, Savision iQ also provides the ability to drill into groups and services and traverse through all of the related components in a visual dependency diagram. The following screenshot shows an example of visualizing a group from PRTG.
Last, but not least, Savision iQ provides the ability to easily construct customizable boards, which can be used to provide an IT Operations overview. This overview can easily be shared with key stakeholders, and is often used to provide management and executives with a real-time view of IT Operations. The following screenshot shows an example of this overview.
