Number 1: Government
Savision has worked with government authorities in every continent and jurisdiction. These range from Pan-European EU institutions; central/federal governments, and down to regional authorities both state wide and even local councils.
What all of our governmental customers have in common, is the requirement for a high-degree of integrity within their IT environments. They run highly centralisedData-centres that require “Best in Class” technologies from reliable vendors that will be around for a long time. With Savision celebrating 10 years in Software, our history and track record has helped us to be accepted on the US GSA list. Number 2: Banking & Finance
Modern banks and other finance companies are mostly electronic these days. Banks usually have the largest IT infrastructure footprint of any of the verticals we come across. That takes a huge amount of monitoring from an Operations team, with any outages costing literally millions of euros per hour. 99.9% uptime is simply not good enough for these institutions that trace billions of transactions each and every day.
Savision has experience working with Global banking institutions, national retail banks as well as finance houses, mortgage firms, and a couple of central banks. All our customers in this segment have highly complex virtualised workloads running business critical applications. They need to continually innovate their solutions towards their customers so their environment is also constantly changing. Live Maps dynamic rule settings is able to keep up with these changes and is a critical cornerstone of the IT Operations team.

Number 3: Healthcare
Savision’s third largest vertical is the Healthcare sector, which is currently in themiddle of an IT spending boom according to IDC. A lot of new technologies are being developed specifically for this sector, for instance with the Internet of Things (IoT) meaningthat patients can test themselves from home without needed to visit a doctor or hospital. All of this innovation, is leading to an overload of data to absorb and manage by the IT Operations team, who are often on the back-foot and less well resourced.
Savision has customers utilising Live Maps’ services dashboard which displays the health of critical applications like Electronic Patient Records, Picture Archiving, and Communication Systems, as well as their performance against service level agreements. Healthcare organisations, whether privately or publicly funded are always very cost conscious of new purchases which are kept within strict IT budgets, so the popularity of Live Maps products in this sector proves that the ROI delivered to our customers is highly visible within the organisation, by driving down IT management overheads, and ensuring up time targets are met. Number 4: Technology
Tech firms are the fourth largest vertical of Savision’s customer base. These range from fellow software companies, to managed service providers and IT consulting firms. Their physical and virtual infrastructure deployments vary wildly from company to company, so they need a solution that is highly flexible which can be customised to their particular environment. A lot of their applications have been built in-house as they are core IP with which our customers want to make revenue. However, they understand the importance of monitoring their custom applications using “off-the-shelf” technology, so they can rely on Savision to continually update our software to the latest industry standards, leaving them to focus on developing and deploying their new core technologies. Number 5: Manufacturing
Savision works with some of the largest manufacturers in the world, including well known car-makers, chemicals processing, and aircraft builders. Most of these customers have worldwide operations being monitored from one main central headquarter. With complex supplies chains that can be interrupted by IT service outages, the focus is on quick resolution time of any manufacturing outages, requiring faster and more business relevant notifications, with quick drill-down capabilities to underlying monitored components.
