NOTE: Previous what to set the theme globally was through editing the overrides.css file. For those that have done that, you should navigate to the location the portal is installed. That will typically be in c:\inetpub\Live Maps Unity Portal\Conent. Find the overrides.css file and rename it something else.
V10.X Note: As of V10.x, the process below will only change the V8 side of the code. We are in the process of rebuilding the Live Maps portal and while that is being done, the theming option described below only works for part of the application.
Themes in V10.x
For a dark theme, download the file in this link – https://savision.com/software/Support/overrides.css.txt
Copy the contents of that file in the Overrides.css file of your Live Maps Portal website. That is typically located in c:\inetpub\Live Maps Portal\Content. This will really depend on where you have installed the portal. If the current Overrides.css file has any other customization, it is a good idea to create a backup of it before you begin.
As of this article, that Overrides.css file can handle the dark them for V10.0 thru V10.1. Come back later for when V10.2 is released for an updated. CSS file.
We do plan to implement a better option for customizing your Theme in the future. If you need assistance with this, please contact Support@savision.com
